Whitehorse, Yukon – The Yukon government wants to put Mother Nature to work at the Keno mine. The mine is still spending thousands of dollars each month treating waste water but now an experimental program is attempting to prove waste water can be treated without chemicals. Dr. Andre Sobolewski heads that program and says his tests will prove wetland treatment works year round, even at minus 30 degrees Celsius.
