Volunteer Resource Centre closes its doors

Halifax, NS – The centre could not secure funding in the 'Year of the Volunteer'
After thirty years of service, Halifax's volunteer resource centre is closed. The centre helped volunteers get in touch with non-profit organizations in need of assistance. It also provided some training and courses on volunteering.
