OTTAWA, January 10, 2001 ? Environment Canada today released its
Climate Trends and Variations Bulletin for Canada for the year 2000. The
Climate Trends and Variations Bulletin, which provides a cross-country look
at temperatures and precipitation and compares it to climate data from the
past 53 years, indicates that Canadian temperatures were above normal by
0.9?C on average in 2000.
