OTTAWA, October 23, 2001 ? Environment Minister David Anderson today welcomed the release of the Final Report of the Task Force on the Canadian Information System for the Environment (CISE). The report is a key element of the Government of Canada's efforts to improve the science foundation upon which environmental decisions are based, to promote new public policy instruments and incentives, and to encourage Canadians to participate in shared agendas and partnerships for environmental solutions.
