Approximately 800 children from 115 countries will gather in Victoria, BC in May 2002 for the United Nations Environmental Programme's (UNEP) fourth International Children's Conference (ICC) on the Environment. The announcement was made in Nairobi yesterday by Canada's Environment Minister David Anderson, who this week was elected President of UNEP's Governing Council, and by UNEP's Executive Director Klaus T?pfer.
