Hake Coalition Calls on Minister to Protect B.C. Jobs & Environment, Not Foreign Fish Factories

UCLUELET, BC, June 28 /CNW/ – The Canadian Hake On-shore Coalition today
called on the federal Minister of Fisheries and Oceans to end its support for
the foreign factory boats that take jobs and benefits away from local
residents by processing Canadian hake just kilometers from the shore and from
the year-old UNESCO Clayoquot Sound Biosphere Reserve.
