GM wheat panned by Canadian consumers, farmers

WINNIPEG, Manitoba – Canadian consumer groups, scientists and farmers joined forces yesterday to demand the federal government postpone approval of genetically modified wheat, saying the engineered crop could devastate wheat exports and harm human health.
