Conservation Explorers EarthWild International Profile Established in 1994 as a registered charity, Earthwild International supports projects that increase the knowledge needed to foster understanding and the protection of cultural and ecological values. The backdrop for our work is the remote and almost virtually untouched landscape of northern British Columbia (BC), the Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Alaska. Earthwild operates within the acceptance that one of the most effective means of protecting biological and cultural diversity is developing economic sustainability reliant upon conservation. We work closely with communities, for the most part indigenous First Nations, that depend on a pristine surrounding wilderness to achieve and maintain economic stability.
