formed in 1970 by those alarmed at the decline of BC's wild salmon and steelhead stocks. The Steelhead Society of BC is a registered, non-profit, watershed conservation organization fighting for wild fish in our wild rivers. The Society brings together diverse interest groups, governments, first nations, multinational corporations, unions, foundations, small business, communities and dedicated individuals from all walks of life in a joint effort to protect, restore and fight for the wild fish, forests and rivers of BC.
