Saskatchewan’s Prairie Conservation Action Plan (PCAP)

Saskatchewan's Prairie Conservation Action Plan (PCAP) complements similar provincial efforts in Alberta and Manitoba and builds upon the first Prairie Conservation Action Plan put forward by World Wildlife Fund Canada in 1989. In 1997 a new action-oriented PCAP was developed for Saskatchewan through a partnership of industry, government, non-government and academic agencies and institutions. It's vision is to sustain the native prairie in a healthy state in which natural and human values are respected.
