The Canadian Network of Toxicology Centres (CNTC) was formed in 1988 by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by three existing centres: the Centre for Toxicology at the University of Guelph, the Toxicology Research Centre at the University of Saskatchewan, and the Centre interuniversitaire de recherche en toxicologie de l'Universit? de Montr?al et de l'Universit? du Qu?bec ? Montr?al. These centres became the "nodes" of the CNTC.
