The Irving Eco-Centre: La Dune de Bouctouche was developed by J.D.Irving Limited to preserve and restore one of the few remaining undeveloped sand dunes on the north eastern coastline of North America. Located on Canada's Northumberland Strait, opposite Prince Edward Island, the white sand dune stretches 12 km across Bouctouche Bay in New Brunswick. This environmentally significant area is the habitat for a rich variety of marine and aquatic plants and animals, and for shorebirds and migratory birds.
