Join LEAF (Local Enhancement & Appreciation of Forests) for an Edible Tree Tour and follow a few knowledgeable foodies through Toronto’s urban forest to discover what appetizing delights await.
Tour leaders Amanda Gomm of LEAF, Becky Thomas of Not Far From The Tree, and Susan Poizner of Orchard People will explore the important role of our urban forest in keeping our city food secure!
Learn about Not Far From The Tree’s fruit picking program; explore Canada’s first community orchard in the heart of the city and learn about Orchard People’s fruit tree workshops; and uncover delicious treats hidden in plain view. Also find out what native and heritage species you can order through LEAF for your own backyard.
