Ontario Urban Forest Council

The Ontario Urban Forest Council (OUFC) is a non-profit group that works to advance the conservation and maintenance of urban forests across Ontario. We also provide technical support for groups addressing urban forestry issues and offer various workshops on a wide range of topics. We work in partnership with all sectors, bringing together professionals, academics, industry, government and the general public in a multi- stakeholder approach to urban forest conservation.

USC Canada

Founded in 1945 as the Unitarian Service Committee of Canada, USC is a voluntary organization working to promote strong, healthy, and just communities in developing countries.
We work with partner organizations in Africa, Asia, and Latin America to strengthen community livelihoods, promote food security, and support peoples??? actions for social justice and equality. In Canada, we build awareness and support for international social change through public education and policy dialogue.

Organic Producers Association of Manitoba

In the summer of 1988, fourteen individuals with an interest in the future of organic agriculture and an awareness of the need for a formal organization of organic producers and processors attended an informational meeting to discuss the establishment of a provincial certification body. From that meeting came the desire and mandate to establish an organization that would unite the organic community and promote organic agriculture in Manitoba. As a result, in November 1988, the Organic Producers Association of Manitoba registered as a formal co-operative under the Manitoba Chapter Co-operatives Act.

Food for Life

The Saskatchewan Organic Directorate is an umbrella organization that unites the province’s producers, processors, buyers, traders, certifiers and consumers of certified organic food and fibre.

It is incorporated as a non-profit membership organization. SOD’s mission statement is “To champion the development of organic agriculture in a democratic manner” and the Vision Statement is “Food for Life”.
