The Big Thaw: Travels In The Melting North

BTBK The Big Thaw, a book that takes a close look at global warming’s wide-ranging impact on the Arctic, is the product of the 11 trips throughout the North taken by veteran Arctic journalist Ed Struzik. Struzik goes into the field with the world’s leading polar bear scientist, skis on melting glaciers with glaciologists and travels the Northwest Passage on an aging icebreaker. The foreward has been written by Gerald Butts, President & CEO of WWF-Canada.
Plus, view exclusive video below of Ed Struzik speaking to WWF staff about the effects of climate change on the North.
