Brought to you by Efficiency Canada, the Provincial Energy Efficiency Scorecard is provides a comprehensive benchmark of provincial and territorial energy efficiency policies in Canada.
Energy savings are largely driven by the provinces and territories because they have jurisdiction over relevant policy areas, such as public utility regulation and building energy codes. Along with the accompanying updated Energy Efficiency Policy Database, this year’s Scorecard, which tracks policy and outcome-based metrics across all 10 provinces (plus territories) includes new information on building workforce training and professionalization, municipalities and building codes, and public transit.
