Reflecting back on my own children’s experience with nature has been gratifying and comforting….knowing that they simply care about where we live and play. It’s a core value that we try to instill in them every single day.

I stumbled upon the Child and Nature Alliance of Canada website and this video below about the value of teaching and learning outside the classroom.

Check out the Child and Nature Alliance of Canada (https://childnature.ca/) to learn more about Forest and Nature Schools, resources, training, and support for practitioners, as well as the latest research on connecting children and youth with nature.

A big shout out to the folks Victoria Nature School, in Victoria, B.C. (Thank you!!!!!)
