Kids’ World of Energy Festival Volunteers

TREC Education, a registered charity, is looking for volunteers for its 9th annual Kids World of Energy Festival from May 4 – 7, 2016 at Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto.

The Kids’ World of Energy Festival is a four-day children’s education festival focused on renewable energy and the environment.

TREC Education delivers renewable energy education programs to children and adults across Ontario through classroom programs and festivals.

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable volunteer experience through:
• Working hands-on with students and youth;
• Gaining in-depth knowledge about renewable energy and environment topics;
• Strengthening your leadership, group facilitation and communication skills
• and support children’s education about the environment.

We are looking volunteers for the following positions:

Workshop Facilitator
Activity leader
Classroom Ambassador
General Event Support

We are also looking for Team leaders, which require a 3-day commitment to train other volunteers and be the ‘go to’ person on the days of the festival.
