Webinar: Breaking the Inevitability Frame in the Energy Debate

From Keystone XL to the Northern Gateway and Energy East pipeline projects, the accelerated expansion of the Canadian Oil Sands is being framed as inevitable and essential for nation building and job creation.

Yet an alternative narrative is emerging that needs to be amplified about the transition to clean energy and low carbon solutions and the benefits this pathway provides.

On October 24, from 1-2pm (ET), environmental communication expert Cara Pike from Climate Access will share an overview of public opinion and media coverage in Canada on clean energy and climate issues, along with recommendations on how to reframe the debate.
