Learn how to effectively assess volunteer skills, interests and experience to match them with the right position, and to meaningfully express your appreciation to volunteers.
By building authentic volunteer relationships, you can avoid the common traps of assigning volunteers to projects that you think they would enjoy, and giving volunteers the type of recognition that you think they want. Instead, you will be able to listen to what they truly want and provide them with fulfilling and rewarding volunteer experiences.
