This summer spend a day collecting wildflowers with the Nature Conservancy of Canada. Armed with a basket and trowel, you will set out to harvest seeds from native Gumweed and Golden Aster plants, then sow them in targeted areas to help restore the native grassland community.
After the work is done, you can go on a guided wildflower tour and point out some of the iconic blooms of Alberta’s grassland ecosystem.
