Come out and help to remove invasive plants

Where:Pacific Spirit Regional Park
When: September 11, 2011 10am-1pm

Pacific Spirit Regional Park is the largest green space remaining in Metro Vancouver (aside from the North Shore Mountains) and comprises 763 hectares of forest.

The park contains 54 km of walking/hiking trails. There are beaches, marshes and forest. Tall cedar, hemlock, douglas fir mixed in with bitter cherry, red alder and maple. Eagles, Great Blue Herons and songbirds frequent this park. It’s important to restore, enhance and protect this park.
