The Pacific Salmon Foundation and Sandbar Seafood Restaurant present “The Stamp Collection” – a salmon art charity auction.
The event will take place on Wednesday, March 2 at Sandbar Seafood Restaurant from 5:30 to 8:30pm.
Proceeds raised will support volunteer programs in British Columbia that address salmon conservation and habitat renewal.
Sandbar Restaurant will host a silent auction for high-quality lithograph reproductions of images by some of Canada’s most renowned wildlife artists: Curtis Atwater, Mark Hobson and Bill Munsie.
These illustrations have appeared for the last 23 years on the Salmon Conservation Stamp that every angler must buy in order to keep salmon caught in BC’s tidal waters. Each of the prints has been individually signed by the artists themselves. Mr. Munsie will be in attendance at the event to talk to the guests.
Tickets are $30 and include a ‘host’ drink and Ocean Wise™ salmon canapés. Please call the Foundation for reservations by February 22 at 604-664-7664, ext 100.
