The two day event starts in Toronto and finishes in Niagara Falls. Over the two days thousands of cyclists and volunteers will travel through several communities in a moving monument to help Conquer Cancer in our Lifetime!
To run this event we have over 20 teams to help facilitate the event and one of those teams is our Green Team. We work with company called King Recycling who help us sort through waste once collected. We are looking for some great volunteers, who care about the environment and want to help us stay green while moving thousands of cyclists for two days. Please see the description below
Green Team: This team is responsible to ensure the route and all route stops/event sites are restored to their original condition prior to our arrival. The Route team will pick up waste at all route stops and move forward. Dumpsters are provided at lunch stop and at camp and the Crew Teams at each location will assist with organizing the trash at each site. The Site team will monitor Opening Ceremonies, Camp and Lunch.
If you are available for the full weekend we can provide a letter indicating a full 40 hours of service.
