Conference for Canadian nurses links health and environment

The Canadian Nurses for Health and the Environment (CNHE), which represents registered nurses dedicated to the improvement of environmental health throughout Canada, will be hosting its first national conference this month.

The CNHE conference will be held in partnership with the Aboriginal Nurses Association of Canada (ANAC), the Canadian Men in Nursing Group, and the Diabetes Nursing Interest Group of the RNAO.

Theme – Linking Our Knowledge through Diverse Interests
Where – Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites, Toronto, Ontario
When – October 25-27, 2010

This year is special in many ways, as ANAC is proudly celebrating its 35th anniversary and 2010 is also the International Year of the Nurse. The conference will feature three days of expert keynote speeches and panel discussions, thought provoking environmental sessions and films, as well as an Aboriginal banquet dinner and silent auction.

Visit the CNHE website for more information about the conference, including poster and registration information.
