Water, Water Everywhere
To answer these questions, we turned to the excellent University of Sheffield resource, Worldmapper. It re-visualizes maps of the Earth based on a particular factor, and create some great educational resources.
World Rivers Day is coming up in late September, so we’re thinking a lot about water at The Big Wild office. Where exactly are the world’s water resources? Who has plenty, and who doesn’t have enough?
The Peel Watershed on the CBC
CBC recently took an interest in the Peel watershed and the role Mountain Equipment Co-op plays in The Big Wild campaign. It turns out there are a lot of MEC members who call the Yukon home.
