Power Plant – Networking Event for Green Business Leaders

Vancouver has a new networking event for its green business community: Power Plant.

Power Plant’s aim is to promote the growth of Vancouver’s green economy by offering an innovative, yet casual approach for sustainable business leaders, social entrepreneurs, eco-adventurers and green artists to celebrate successes, share ideas and knowledge, and create strategic partnerships.

It sets itself apart from conventional business networking events that are either too structured, lack focus, or do not facilitate socializing.  The free event features quick presentations from green community leaders, each of whom deliver a compelling story with exactly 10 PowerPoint slides, within 3 minutes and 20 seconds — tops.  Time is allotted for comments, ideas, and debate.  During the socializing, Power Plant has ‘Connectors’ who introduce guests and facilitate purposeful connections.

A high interest, high energy showcase for the green business community.

As the brainchild of LimeLight Event Marketing, the green event takes measures to reduce Power Plant’s environmental footprint — naturally.
