Geared for Change: Energy Efficiency in Canada’a Commercial Buildings

January 15, 2009 – The National Roundtable on the Environment and the Economy (NRTEE) and Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) have collaborated to recommend a long-term policy framework with specific, sequenced steps for advancing energy efficiency in Canada’s commercial building sector.

The resulting joint report suggests that “Canada’s commercial building sector can achieve significant GHG emission reductions through new energy efficiency measures.”
