Toyota Earth Day Scholarship looking to reward environmental leaders

Scholarship Program
, take pride in acknowledging the valuable work of these students and rewarding their efforts as they move on to post-secondary studies.

The Toyota Earth Day Scholarship Program offers 15 regional scholarships of $5,000 each to high school students entering their first year of college or university in any program of study.

One exceptional student, chosen from the 15 regional scholarship winners, will also be presented with the Toyota Earth Day Scholarship National Award and a Panasonic notebook computer at a National Award Ceremony.

Completed scholarship applications must be submitted no later than January 31, 2009.

Earth Day Canada, a national environmental charity (# 13195 1378RR0001) founded in 1990, provides Canadians with the practical knowledge and tools they need to help the environment. To date, $425 000 has been awarded to 85 of Canada’s future environmental leaders through the Toyota Earth Day Scholarship Program.
