Alliance has released its recommendations for the upcoming Ontario Green Energy Act:

WELL STEWARDSHIP. Green
Communities Foundation, the charitable affiliate of Green
Communities Canada, is one of 12 Leadership Grant recipients of the
RBC Blue Water
Project. The Foundation will be working in partnership with the
Ontario First Nations Technical
Services Corporation and the Well Wise Resource Centre on a
private well stewardship pilot in First Nations communities.

BEHAVIOR. Some findings from the new Statistic
Canada report Environment
and sustainable development indicators: 45% of Canadian
households are very active across a range of environmental
behaviours and home ownership is most strongly associated with a
household being very active.
CLIMATE
SCARE. Journalist Gwynn Dyer spells out Four
Truths About Climate Change We Can’t Ignore: scientists are
really scared; global warming threatens world food supply; there is
a point of no return after which warming becomes unstoppable; and we
will have to use geo-engineering to temporarily hold
temperatures down.
