Monica Pukas graduated from Environment and Business at the University of Waterloo in 2007 and is currently in Nepal promoting alternative energies, specifically bio-briquettes.
A bio-briquette is made from local biomass (shrubs, sawdust, etc., mixed with clay or mud) and offers an alternative to expensive fossil fuels. Learn more about Monica’s work at www.environment.uwaterloo.ca/cooljobs/pukas.html
