1) Streamline – individuals articles now available for download

2) FIA-FSP Call For Proposals

The annual FIA-FSP Research Call for Proposals includes a list of the research themes, topics, and priorities eligible for funding in 2009/10, with accompanying guidelines for proponents. 3) Haig-Brown Symposium on Sustaining Wild Salmon: Moving from Words to Action
August 16-17, 2008

Campbell River, BC

This symposium, as part of the Haig-Brown Centenary celebrations will address the challenges that we face today in our work to conserve wild salmon in British Columbia and explore the questions: What solutions and tools are available? How will communities like Campbell River work with others to ensure sustainability of wild salmon? How will communities play a role in the stewardship and management of the resource? What will it take to make these changes? The symposium will address the challenges that we face in implementing the Wild Salmon Policy.

4) Adapting to Change: Regulatory, Ecological and Social. Integrated Vegetation Management Association of BC

6) Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute (ABMI) Field Data Collection Protocols

The ABMI has developed field data collection protocols for terrestrial and aquatic ecosystem monitoring. Aquatic protocols have been developed for wetlands, lakes, rivers and streams.
