Keeping in touch with Facebook

facebook-thumb.gifFacebook is probably the most phenomenal social web service app that came out of the Web 2.0 age. Never has a web site ever connected (and reconnected) so many people and it will probably forever be part of our social network infrastructure (“I’ll facebook you buddy). With that said, as most people know, we all have a love/hate relationship with Facebook. You can literally spend hours and hours on Facebook and before you know it, 3/4 of your work day is gone (I have no idea what that is like of course).

At thegreenpages.ca, the only useful Facebook feature that we use today are Facebook groups. Our group is at: https://www.facebook.com/thegreenpagescanada. For people who join the group, we only send out periodic updates about what we are up to, share photos and videos from our development days, and share other interesting news and events in typical Facebook fashion: casually and informally.
