Toronto’s transit strike could not come at a worse time, coinciding exactly with the busy weekend for this year’s Green Living show.
But throngs of bicycles locked outside Toronto’s Direct Energy Centre proved that Torontians were coming to check out this green consumer showcase, no matter how far the commute.
The 2008 edition did not disappoint, featuring everything from indoor urban forests to vegan-style, certified organic Jamaican patties.
