Susan Heller spins wool and has sheep that mow her front lawn – not a lifestyle choice everyone can make. But one of her other green habits is more adaptable: her adamant refusal to add to the world’s garbage. Her waste is down to one small metal can every two weeks. “It’s very hard,” she says. “People have got to want to do it.”
