The first recipients of Climate Change Connection’s Climate Champion Award were the “Idle Free Girls”.
These girls are a group of Grade Six students at Stonewall Centennial
School in Stonewall, Manitoba committed to helping the planet and
slowing global warming.
They received Climate
Change Connection’s first “Climate Champions” award from the Honourable
Jim Rondeau on Wednesday, September 19, 2007.
