“I am currently working towards a PhD in Ecology in the Department of Biology at McGill University (supervisor: Dr. Michel Loreau). In April 2006, I completed my M.Sc. in Conservation Biology in the Department of Renewable Resources at the University of Alberta. Before beginning my PhD, I was a research assistant with the BEACONs program, which is developing a conservation network for the boreal region of Canada. My research combines community ecology, ecosystem ecology, and conservation biology.”
