I was watching Breakfast television this morning and saw a news segment where a 12 year old boy is passionate about saving the West Creek Wetlands (not your average kid).
The Campaign:
In the West Creek Watershed of Langley, BC, hidden within a forest, lie 163 acres of natural terrain speckled with a lake, wetlands, and creeks. As one of the largest areas of wildlife habitat in the municipality, nearly 170 animals use the site, including up to 18 endangered or threatened species. As well, migrating waterfowl and songbirds have taken to calling this natural landscape home.
