Quebec Public Interest Research Group at McGill

The Quebec Public Interest Research Group at McGill (QPIRG-McGill) is a volunteer-driven, non-profit student organization working on social justice and environmental issues. We work as a base for student and community activism, making connections between students and the greater Montreal community. Recognizing the links between various forms of struggle and oppression, we seek to work together in an inclusive non-hierarchical, non-oppressive manner. We are part of a network of PIRGs, 20 in Canada and over 200 in the United States.

  1. Hello,
I am a home owner living in Pointe Claire who is considering the installation of a geo-thermal system for my home. I’ve contacted a local contractor and I’ve been told that the initial costs for installation of such a system is approximately $30,000, which is a lot of money to me.
I’m wondering if you are aware of any government, federal, provincial, or municipal, programs that I might apply for that would help me in financing such a system.
    Sincerely,
    Jack Shultz
