HALIFAX (CP) – Nova Scotia’s Tory government has set the ambitious goal of getting at least 20 per cent of the province’s electrical needs from renewable energy sources by 2013.
Energy Minister Bill Dooks, made the announcement today in a speech at an energy conference in Halifax. Dooks says the province will look to producers from a variety of sources including wind, tidal, solar, hydro and biomass.
