Show seeks better home planet

All too often it takes a crisis to get people to wake up, help out, or make change. Look at the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, which devastated communities already struggling with poverty and homelessness. Groups like Unicef and the Red Cross received unprecedented support from individuals all around the globe, many of whom had likely never made a donation before in their lives. That action is so commonly motivated by loss is one of several themes performers explore in EARTH=home, a show by Judith Marcuse Projects that premieres at Earth: The World Urban Festival, which runs Wednesday to next Sunday (June 21 to 25) at the Great Northern Way campus and coincides with the World Urban Forum.
