Environmentalists oppose ‘spiking’ soil for testing

Environmental groups are warning the province not to let a soil treatment company begin compliance testing. There’s one last hurdle facing Bennett Environmental before it can start using its $33-million plant. It has to prove it can safely remove two contaminants from soil: hydrocarbons and creosote.
