Coalition to Save the Elms

The Coalition to Save the Elms is a non-profit charitable community based conservation organization. The Coalition was founded in 1992, in response to the heightened threat to Winnipeg’s extraordinary American elm population by Dutch elm disease. As the internal and external forces have changed over the years, the organization has updated its strategy to stress the inclusion of all tree species in Winnipeg’s urban forest.
