Wilderness parks opened to motorized traffic without consultation

The new Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserve Act, introduced by the McGuinty government in November 2005, is a deeply flawed piece of legislation and will result in a substantial net loss in ecological protection of Ontario’s parks. And the McGuinty government is pushing this legislation through without any public consultation or comment period. – Peaceful Parks
