Hearing spring peeper frogs after a cold winter has been one of the co-op work term highlights for Renee, a fourth-year student in Environment and Resource Studies. Renee is spending an 8-month co-op work term as a Stewardship Assistant at the Wye Marsh, near Midland, Ontario. Among her duties, Renee has been working with the Trumpeter Swan Reintroduction program, feeding swans, assisting in tagging and banding them, and providing medication and care at a treatment center for swans suffering from lead poisoning.
