A coffee field as a classroom? That is just what several Costa Rican elementary school students experienced as they explored the wonders found in a coffee field. Depending on how coffee is grown, it can either provide habitat to a variety of animals and plants or it can wreak environmental havoc through erosion and contamination from synthetic pesticides and fertilizers.
