Geography student Reid Van Brabant spent one of his recent co-op work terms at Environment Canada’s Global Atmospheric Watch lab in Alert, Nunavut. Alert is Canada’s most northerly settlement and is located on the northeast tip of Ellesmere Island, not too far from the North Pole.
