100,000 shrubs for the year 2000, a major boost for the environment

RAPPEL is a regional umbrella organization of associations involved in the protection of lakes, watercourses and wetlands. It currently numbers some 5,000 active members in its 44 associations. Its mission is to raise awareness as well as to inform and mobilize people living along the watercourses, municipal managers, government departments and the general public to protect this collective heritage of watercourses in the area.
