Ontario’s Leading Urban Stewards recognized at Awards celebration & workshop

TORONTO, April 22 /CNW/ – Evergreen, EcoSuperior, Sudbury Better
Beginnings Better Futures, Wildlife Habitat Canada (WHC) and the Regional
Municipality of York (York Region) recognized and celebrated nominees and
recipients of the 2003-2004 Urban Stewardship Awards of Excellence on April
18th, 2004. Recognizing Ontario Stewards took place at Humber College, where
more than 65 stewards from across Ontario participated in a guided arboretum
tour, listened to guest speakers, networked, shared successes and celebrated
stewardship achievements.
