Mackenzie Gas Project Sent to a Federal Environmental Review Panel by Inuvialuit Screening Committee

OTTAWA, January 30, 2004 – The Honourable David Anderson, Minister of the Environment, Mr. Frank Pokiak, Chair of the Inuvialuit Game Council, and Mr. Bill Klassen, Chair of the Environmental Impact Screening Committee for the Inuvialuit Settlement Region, today announced that the proposed Mackenzie Gas Project will be sent to a federal review panel, the most rigorous level of environmental assessment.
